“Change starts where you are and takes you to where you need to be.”

It is a challenge to stay both informed and centered in our world.

This newsletter will help you do both.

Each newsletter will contain, at least:

  • 1 somatic tool for managing stress, trauma and/or emotions
  • 1 plant or herb to invite into your life for improved health
  • 1 way to increase empathy for yourself & others
  • 1 life hack to make life run just a little more smoothly

I don’t want to say any more than that because I don’t want you to get too comfortable thinking you know what’s coming!

The world changes; its Moon Wise to change with it.

Live brilliantly,

Jihan

Trigger Translation Journals

Trigger Translation Journals are tools for gaining insight into what’s bothering you about a particular situation, person or idea. Every journal is handmade. The Somatic version includes a body map that will help you translate your body’s dis-stress messages. Journals can be purchased HERE.

Medicine of the Month

Ginger is an easy to find, cheap and widely beneficial plant. Native to Southern Asia, ginger is a flowering root that can be used in food or eaten raw, and made into tea or an essential oil. Find out more abut how to use ginger as medicine.

Ginger is also an easy plant to grow at home; check out this Instructable on how to grow your own!

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, (TCM) ginger (Seng/Gan Jiang) has warm and pungent properties that help dispel cold-wind and is associated with the lung, spleen and stomach meridians.

In Ayurveda, ginger (Vishabhesaj) is recommended for addressing Vata imbalances regarding digestion and absorption of nutrients from food. Find out more about ginger in TCM & Ayurveda!

Monthly Life Hack

Your Life, a little easier.

This month’s life hack really is a sweet one. Seriously, Honey actually does everything it promises to do! Honey automatically finds coupon codes for the site you’re shopping at and applies them to your order when you check out.

I saved $43 actual dollars on an order yesterday; not tokens or Honeysuckles or some such nonsense (though they do have something called HoneyGold which is some such nonsense) , but $43 real dollars that stayed in my bank account. Its a browser add on that currently works for desktop versions of ChromeFirefox, Safari and Opera

Find out more in their Frequently Asked Questions guide.
