I use words as a form of inspiration, empowerment, & transformation, as a tool to paint the world a brighter & saner place through creativity. Tikkun Magazine

For their first ever fully online issue, Tikkun asked me to answer the question, "What is beyond patriarchy?" My answer was a personal reflection essay of a moment I experienced where I felt patriarchy was transcended and what it taught me about what's possible.

Dust Messages: The Missing Memorials from 9/11

Ten years after the day that changed the world, Jim decided it was time to share his story of being at Ground Zero in the immediate aftermath of 9/11 and the startling discoveries he made. I helped Jim conceptualize, design, fund, and write this book project. It was featured on ABC and was added to the inventory of the World Trade Center Memorial gift shop.

The Movement Magazine

An editor from Movement reached out to me after seeing a social media post of mine to expand on the original to include in their post-2016 election coverage. A collectivist op-ed, the piece spoke to the dissonance and differences people were experiencing in response to the election results and called for collective and personal inquiry into what causes produced such a result.

"Be art; wear art. Your clothes can speak for you; say something interesting." These slogans I crafted for Human Canvas uplifts the mission and purpose to celebrate the human form as motorized sculptures with the capacity to engage & inform one another about the nature of our reality. For them, I wrote articles, slogans, product descriptions and used my LiveScribe technique to articulate their perspective and voice as not just a brand but a lifestyle.

Gyasi Ross

Singer-songwriter & guitarist Gyasi Ross was having trouble defining his musical genre with words and needed a cohesive message for his sophomore album, "If You Really Know Me". I worked with Gyasi to articulate his sound as "hip-hop folk", edit his lyrics, and write a succinct and heartfelt "thank you" to the large community that supported the crowd-sourced album.

VegiHeal

VegiHeal has been a vegan supplement supplier for over 20 years and was in need of expanded product descriptions for their compound wellness formulas and a savvier market. For them, I incorporated information from the expanded knowledge available about multicultural healing systems for descriptions that are both interesting and educational. 

D. Emerald

D. Emerald, Image Consultant and fashion blogger, needed a personal bio as nuanced as her style. Using my LiveScribe technique, we developed a narrative that highlighted not just her skills but her passion for helping people find looks that authentically speak to who they are underneath the clothes.
