Spiritual Direction

My spiritual direction practice is informed by my life-long quest to be with the truth of things. I offer guidance on reconnecting with self, purpose, and spirit that is rooted in your highest potential and grounded in practicality. My spirituality is non-denominational and affirms all creatures as having divine birthright to this planet & cosmos.

Future ID's @ Alcatraz

Co-facilitated a ritual story sharing circle to accompany a performance of The Box, a play about solitary confinement. The circle included trauma release techniques and story sharing by formerly incarcerated artists whose work was displayed as part of the larger exhibit.
Client Response
"WOW! Both days we were just amazing."  Gregory S, Event Coordinator

Breaking the Silence Town Hall/Girls & Women of Color Cooperative

Along with local grassroots activists and organizers, I worked with Kimberle Crenshaw and the African American Policy Forum to produce a town hall on women and girls of color in Oakland. I developed our holistic health plan, creating a new role of Integrators to provide mental/spiritual care during the event, which in its 10 years prior had never been done.

Our work spurred the creation of the African American Female Excellent initiative in Oakland public schools.

Client Response
"I am so grateful for my Integrator! I wouldn't have been able to make it through, or even to, the event without their support."    Cyn M, Testifier

Inward Bound Youth Meditation Retreat

I served as Mentor for this week-long retreat in Cazadero. Along with supporting instruction in mindfulness meditation, we worked in small groups offering teens counseling and emotional support.
Client Response
"Thank you so much!! I'm so grateful and excited that you're alive and sharing your energy with me and the world."   Anthony M, Lead Teacher
